The Wild Sanctuary

for Alumni of Seminary of the Wild Earth

A Sanctuary for Your Ongoing Wild Journey

The dream of an interconnected, mycelial movement of kindred spirits who are called into soulful service to Earth and Spirit is finally happening.

Stay Connected.  Once you leave the intensive yearlong connection, it can feel lonely!  For those who have graduated from Seminary of the Wild Earth, The Wild Sanctuary is a container of support to stay connected and rooted in the practices of wild spirituality at this time of great unraveling. It is a space to stay nourished and supported as you and your sacred path continues to evolve.

Join the EcoSpirituality Directory.  It's been part of the vision since the beginning of Seminary of the Wild:  building a hub for the movement toward a New Story of sacred relationship with the living world.  This directory is a way to support and increase visibility of the ways that practitioners of wild spirituality are weaving as we, together, co-create a kincentric way of being, a New Story as Thomas Berry envisioned. It begins with you!

As an alumni of Seminary of the Wild, you are invited to be featured in the EcoSpiritual Practitioners Directory. For the initial couple years, the Directory will be populated by fellow alumni who are living into a new way of being connected to Nature and Spirit.

Even me?  Yes!  No matter what you are doing to embody the wild call you've been following.  Maybe you are leading an eco-centric yoga practice or opening your practice as an EcoSpiritual Director or perhaps you're writing a book about a particular aspect of wild spirituality. No matter what you do, it matters.  From offering workshops to rewilding your personal vocation or shifting the worldview of your church or company or organization.  Even something like rewilding your parenting or your front yard, or engaging with environmental activism from a soul-to-soul relationship rather than a litany of shoulds and fears.  Your unique way of embodying your wild call is what matters here.  Your story inspires others.

If you are offering something like a workshop or 1:1 companionship or any service directly related to some form of wild spirituality, this Directory will also connect you to the CWS network for potential new clients.

Access The Wild Sanctuary: Your annual membership includes multiple ways to continue the sacred conversation in community with other graduates of Seminary of the Wild Earth in addition to being included in the directory. See all the benefits below.

Alumni Councils

$100/mo

six month commitment

two guided council gatherings/month

The Alumni Councils are a continuation of the sacred practice of Council that has held you throughout Seminary of the Wild Earth. Held by one of the CWS Guides, these intimate groups offer a space to keep listening deeply to the land, to your soul, and to the Holy Wild.

As during the program, you’ll tend your deepening relationship with Spirit and your wildish places. The intentionality of meeting bi-weekly (every other week) like we did in wild seminary, allows the intimacy to continue to reflect on who you are becoming at this wild edge and moment in history. Time will be made each month to process and receive feedback on any offerings you are bringing to your community.

All alumni are, of course, encouraged to continue meeting in their council groups from the Wild Seminary cycles. These Alumni Councils are simply more intentional and guided, offering monthly invitations for wandering, creative expression, dreamwork, journaling, and embodiment in an every-other-week cycle.

Ready to continue in the way of Council? Councils begin as soon as a small circle of six are formed. A six-month commitment is required. Join the wait list and  you'll be contacted by the Guide for next steps.
